"The future belongs to Islam (Ahmadinejad tells Bush)"
With the incompetence being exalted on both sides of the isle in that never never land known as DC, I fear he maybe right.
With all the elected officials in DC we should ask the question "is this the best our country has to offer for self government?" I don't think it is, and if so, why??

The false prophet is not Mohammed, but someone who will live during the time of the Antichrist and will promote the worship of him.Small point, but Mohammed is "a" false prophet and "an" antiChrist. There are no authorities on the "Book of Revelation" because recent events have overthrown all previous theories. I recently reread Walvoord's "Revelation of Jesus Christ" and found it still scholarly but dated in light of recent developments.
I suggest we are on new ground.

But, this has to be explained to the Democrats who will certainly interpret the letter as a peace offering. They can be pretty dumb... when they want to be.

>We don't need the likes of Hal Lindsey to tell us what is plainly written in the Koran and in the letter.<
The likes of Hal Lindsey? What do you mean by that? We clearly don't need the likes of CNN, or the New York Times to tell us their self-spun version of the news either. As a Christian, I take offense at "the likes of Hal Lindsey".

I agree...Hal is only human but he does a darn good job.

Just had an interested thought. Suppose Muslim men see freedom and democracy as a threat to the profound and all inclusive power they now wield over, say we say, the fair sex in their autocratic culture? Bottom line, this whole debacle could boil down to the old "battle of the sexes".
Where is the peace in that?
Now Christ said, Women, submit to your husband. He also said, Men, love your wife as you love yourself. (Or words to that effect.) Mohhamed said kill. Jesus said love.
And who said you draw more flies with sugar than with vinegar?

There were no Muslims in Star Trek...because there are no Muslims in the future. What about Ricardo Monteblam's character, Khan, in Star Trek II, "The Wrath of Khan". I guess he could have been a throwback to the Golden Horde of Mongolia.
< a href=http://www.globalsecurity.org/wmd/world/pakistan/khan.htm>Abdul Qadeer Khan, a Pakistani, is the Father of the Islamic Bomb, and proliferator of it as well. If and when Iran gets the bomb, it will undoubtedly have had help from A.Q. Khan.

I got a koran...shredded it and mixed it with cat litter. Vy absorbent...and my cats appreciate the spiritual addition to the box.

In World War II, Japan worshiped their Emporer, they called him the "Sun God" and believed him to be divine.
In that war we did what the most clear thing woman on the planet, Ann Coulter, proclaimed to implement the same method to defeat Islam in the Middle East.
Her clear cut pattern of devastating the enemy to the point of annhilation, civilian and solider, taking over civic and education departments for decades. As Gen. Mac Carthy used for his ideology in Japan, and look at the changes in ideology, doctrine, and behavior of Japan.
The obvious lesson to be learned to to face the enemy with total annihilation and educate the rest for decades in Western principles. Now we can count Japan as an ally of some sort. The same can be done with Islam if some wuss in D.C. can find the guts to do the same thing. It has proven to work and should be SOP with every war we find ourselves in

The likes of Hal Lindsey? What do you mean by that?I mean someone so far out of the mainstream - and so intrinsically connected with Apocalyptic scaremongering - that his message won't be received by any but a small handful of loyal adherents.
When the fact is that any careful, simple, and literal ("a-secular") reading of the letter shows that it is the classic "call to Islam."
Worldnet could have chosen any number of less controversial and more credible columnists to write the article.

But, this has to be explained to the Democrats who will certainly interpret the letter as a peace offering.Yes, they and the MSM have been doing that in spades since Tuesday.
However, I don't think Hal Lindsey is the best person to explain the letter to Democrats and the MSM.
