Ever tried to seek medical assistance in a country that doesnt speak your language?
Sure have. Last time I was in Mexico (that would be 1997), I got deathly ill and had to see not only a doctor, but some paramedics.
If I didn't speak Spanish, Lord knows what would have happened to me.
But that's the point . . . I spoke the caregivers' language and could tell them what was wrong with me. Therefore, I got the care I needed.
