I listened to a seminar once where a snake breeder found that some and possibly most if not all Colubrid snakes could interbreed and produce fertile young.

I've heard the big estimated numbers of species worldwide (with more discovers and destroyed every day). But what is the estimated number of interbreed-able species? (ping? http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1630448/posts)
