Prior news reports said he had agreed to cooperate and if they found his assistance "particularly useful", his sentence could be reduced. If he fails to cooperate, isn't he in violation of his plea agreement? In that case, couldn't his sentence be increased?

No. It could get shorter, but it cant be made longer. At this point, I really dont think Duke cares. He has a terminal illness anyway.

In that case, couldn't his sentence be increased? It can't be increased, but they could refuse to reduce the sentence. Considering he has a fatal disease, he probably will die in prison unless he gets his sentence reduced.
