Border trolls vs. the BushBots.. Wheres the popcorn..
When its all over illegal and legal alien democrats will still be voting.. O.K.. O.K. a bare minimum of the illegals and legals voters will be RINOS.. Multi millions of prospective democrat voters.. IMPORTED with heavy very heavy leverage from the White House.. The Shrub is scarier than a naked picture of Ted Kennedy..
Bush is going to mess around and even Bushbots will go silent..

He has done nothing in his second term with the issue of homosexual marriage.Because Tom DeLay told him there's no support for it in the House, which is where a constitutional amendment would have to originate.
Many Republicans are reluctant to propose constitutional amendments. That's just the way it is.
It is just unbelieveable to me that this would be a deciding issue at this critical time in the WOT.

gay marriage is a states rights issue, abortion will be too someday. voters at the state level have plenty of opportunities to vote and elect people who will express their will regarding gay marriage and abortion.
now, if the SCOTUS tosses the defense of marriage act - then the game changes, but until (if) that happens, I don't see any groundswell for federal activism regarding a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage.

Graham is my senator also and I detest him.We in Ohio have the weakest sisters as Republican Senator -- DeWanker and Voinovich. Bad as they are, the 'Rats were worse.

Republicans cannot make the rats vote the way we want. Yes, they could and should have done more. And that's why I haven't stopped writing and calling them about it.

Thankyouverymuch. :)
May I know why?
Don't tell me you don't actually believe Lou Dobbs is about to do to Fox, what Fox did to CNN?
You don't actually think Lou Dobbs is an audienceless waif, lost in his vigilanteism?
Right?
Right?

I'm absolutely terrified of what's going to happen with Social Security. And I've written all of my representatives multiple times, especially my spineless senator Lindsey Graham. But it was the rats who blocked the legislation, not the Republicans.Bravo, ilovew!!! I saw what Conservative Goddess posted to you and was ready to make a comment to her ridiculous statement about the Republicans fumbling S.S. (Bush's fault...LOL), but decided to let you handle that comment yourself. You ARE intelligent and well-read! I love it!

The border trolls have shown no interest in the facts, but that was worth posting for the rest of us who are willing to support the one president we've ever had who is trying to do SOMETHING about illegal immigration vs. the rest of the presidents we've had who have done exactly zero. yep.
It looks to me like there a lot of DU-er sleepers in here. Subversion is a well honed trait of the commies...

Not to mention that 36 states have now banned homosexual marriage and those that haven't are either going to or will become a magnet for gays.

[Since Bush took office, government spending has increased by more than 25 percent, the largest increase under any president since Democrat Lyndon B. Johnson. ]
This accounts for a twenty point drop from Bush's peak. Doing nothing about border security adds another twenty point drop.
At this point, I'm practically convinced that Bush was sent to put the Republicans back on a parity with the Democrats.

As one dissatisfied with Bush's largely phony stance on border issues, I fully support our mission in Iraq and the WOT. Whether we should have gone into Iraq is not an issue. Our troops are striving to carry out their mission and have made progress. I believe its fulfillment will benefit us (US) as well as Iraq. That's all that counts for me.
