Got that beat...I met a guy in college who's been working on "arts" degrees since 1957! He's a career student, living off grants and such.

I have an older friend who began taking a class a semester at the local college. Her husband earned a good living and enjoyed his job, she stayed home with the kids. This was the one thing that was "hers". After 20 years of taking one class a semester that she enjoyed, just for the sake of enjoyment, she earned her BA.

My own husband is encouraging me to follow in the same path and I must admit that I've been giving it some thought. Once the kids are grown, why not?
