No, deportation is not border security. Border security is stoppin them at the border or close to it. Oh, and a nice us of either/or when there are myriad possible approaches that do not involve lethal force, such as building a wall, improving detection, and increasing boots on the ground to catch illegals. It doesn't have to be airtight, but if it were to increase the chance of apprehension from possible to probable, far fewer people would be willing to pay 2 grand to a coyote just to get caught four times before making it across.
