Rome,10 May (AKI) - The soldiers of the multinational force operating in southern Iraq will be at increased risk of terrorist attack in the near future, a source in one of the armed militias in Basra has told Adnkronos International (AKI). The source, who requested anonymity, said "the attacks against the coalition forces in southern Iraq will see a significant increase". Regarding the nature of these attacks, the source said: "They will probably involve suicide bombers, explosive devices and the launch of Hawn missiles."
Regarding the downing of a British helicopter in Basra two days ago, the militia member told AKI that "it was a highly successsful operation by one of the factions," adding that "the methods of attack will be increasingly diverse."
The milita member went on to say that this stepping up of aggression by the militant groups was because "resistance is a legitimate right, especially after the failure to restore security to the region."

Being killed in the Anbar provoince has sent many of the remaing muj south. Also, Iran is fomenting and arming muj in the south.
The muj can't shake America (except for MSM and libs), so try the putatively weaker partner, Britain. IMHO, it's another mistake by the muj. The Brits are genteel, but tougher than boot leather when attacked.
