Great article, but they've already won when the majority of Americans can't even name the three branches of this now irreversably unlimited Govt, thanks in large part to post-Newt Reps.

The best chance in my lifetime has been blown by Republican and Democrat statists, Spector, a perfect example, revealed his true concerns in the Roberts confirmation:

Would Roberts do anything to lessen congress' power to spend (heavens!), and ergo their power overall (oh my!), by reverting the Commerce Clause to it's truthful purpose of denying the several states the right to tarrif each other, versus the 75yo progressive won power to use it tax anything they can dream up?

All Spector cared about was keeping his ability to keep buying votes with OPM.

Aside from the socialist SS system Rat reelection slush fund, graduated taxes, corporate subsidy, foreign aid to dictators (helps keep the little man poor, and the elite's w/favors owed), a theiving Federal Reserve owned in part by aliens & accountable to no one but the politicians who appoint them, a dollar 20/700ths (1/35th) of it's pre-FDR gold conficastion value - we've nearly satisfied every plank of the communist manifesto already.

More regulations, tighter security, bigger Govt w/ever more Govt jobs, rampant corruption, corp political control, is our future.

But the crucial facts to realize are:

that our present condition is NOT due to the collectivist ideology that most Americans if educated truthfully would soundly reject;

But, that it was the use of these ideas by American capitalists envious of their euro-counterpart's govt protections and they were thus adamant to gain the special favors of our Govt too, "for the public good".

Which they did starting with the egregious ICC; a typical protectionist effort aimed at keeping the many new small competitors that were arising, and who were also responsible for the rising stds of living their competitive forces had in lowering commodity consumer prices in the late 1800's.

I wholeheartedly suggest you read/watch the following expose's on just what the elite progressives really foisted on us and which has been spun by their self interested educrats to this day.

Thanks for the links. I will check them out when I have a little more time.

Unfortunately, I hold little hope that things will improve without getting far worse first. Too many people are asleep with the mental novocain of legal and illegal drugs, millions of TV channels, shopping, the newest tech gadgetry, internet porn, and gossip. Greed for more and more material goods takes the place of real convictions and faith, and living for higher principles.

Bread and circuses.
