I think the media will do what they can to get her elected.
Remember when she announced she was running for Senator, the conventional wisdom stated that the "tough New York press" would give her a hard time and ask tough, probing questions....bla bla bla.
Then, the "tough New York press" rolled over and served as her lap dogs during the campaign. To this day, that is their function--to echo her pronouncements with no negative commentary.
Has anyone in the media ever ever ever asked her a tough question? Even once? No one in my memory has been given a pass like her.

Oh i have no doubt the press will give her kid glove treatment. They did with Kerry. i found it unusual that a man who spent 20 years in the senate and no one from the old media asked him any questions about that record
