"During a detention of a legal or illegal immigrant that produces an allegation of improper treatment, Border Patrol reports the allegation and allows the appropriate consulate to interview the individual in custody."

Well, there you have it; they are NOT reporting the whereabouts of the Minutemen to the Mexican government.

I read that story...and Chris Simcox was the only one that was saying that the US. Government was telling the Mexican Government where the Minutemen are..

The first 99% of the article just states that the Mexican Government is notified if an illegal is caught or mistreated, by any civilian group or others...

That just sounds like a "good neighbor policy"...wouldn't you want the US Consulate to be notified if an American going across the border was being mistreated by anyone??

And, I am not accusing the Minutemen of mistreating them, nor do I think the article does...I think it is Simcox taking a state diplomatic policy "personally".
