I grew up near Corpus Christi (where Whataburger was founded). I have been eating them every since I can remember. Back in the day there was only one burger ~ although when ordering for us kids my dad would order a "Sissy Burger", which was a burger without mustard or onions.

Occasionally my husband and I will go for a late night What a Burger run. Now days it is on wheat bread with mustard instead of mayo and no fries though.

Oh my God, I moved to Alabama and I hate that you said that. I'd slit someone's throat for a Whataburger right now.
