What we need is more conservatives

You can't just stomp your feet and hold your breath to get them. They have to be elected and the majority of "RINOS" in congress come from states that whose GOP voters are "RINOS". You sure as hell are not going to be able to elect Tom Tancredo in Olympia Snowe's district. This nonsense about Specter being given his senate seat because Bush pushed the "true conservative" aside is crap. It was Specter or a democrat.

Toomey would have been a much better choice, and if evedryone who wanted a conservative Senator -- teh third-party voters and the Toomey supporters -- had supported Jim Clymer in November, Pennsylvania would have a pair of conservative Senators today. But teh White House made sure Arlen won the primary. They justified it saying they always support incumbents, but that standard sure didn't hold when the incumbent in question was conservative Bob Smith.

The Specter essentially IS a Dimmycrap. If he were honest, he would run as one.

That is exactly the sort of argument that chases conservatives away from the Repulbican Party: You may as well vote for a Democrat in Republican clothing, because otherwise you'll get a Democrat who at least is honest enough to admit it.

Worth repeating. I have problems with the Repub's (Mostly the Senate Repubs) lack of courage and fight but voting them out of committee chairmanships is a dangerous move considering what will take their place.

Disgruntled conservatives, focus your energy on what Texasforever pointed out. We need to get rid of Democrats in conservative areas.

How many red States are there? Look at the Senate makeup if Republicans from those States are elected from there.

We have at least one liberal Senator in Florida, Indiana, Arkansas, Colorado, Louisiana, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico (Get rid of fraud solid red State), North Dakota, South Dakota, and West Virginia.

Come on people wake up, before you abandon the Repubs at least fight to get rid of 'Rats in States where they fool the electorate into thinking they are "conservative".
