Wikipedia is pretty cool. I've used it for a lot of reports. Of course, I checked it with other places and it always checked out. Sure, some articles are messed with. But they get changed back and, if necessary, the article will be locked to make sure that it's safe.

If you don't like it, change it. If it gets changed back, tell the administrators.

Woggly drops in from nowhere hurtling insults and legal threats at me. Calling me an "idiot," a "creep" but most hurting were her statements that I was a "dangerous person" and insinuated that I was "dangerous to her children."
