This is a very complex issue.

Check this out

This looks like, once again, junk science. Every study, and I do mean every single study on a gay gene or biological factors for homosexuality (behavior) have been debunked.

From the article, somebody who wasn't part of the team said:

The important thing is to be open to the likely situation that there are biological factors that contribute to sexual orientation.
And we have to look at all the evidence, which includes studies on ex-gays. Besides that, we already know biology contributes to sexual orientation. People who understand the issues realize this doesn't mean homosexuality is innate. The issue is what and how little linkage and association really means. But you won't read that from somebody pushing the homosexual agenda.

Also, this study assumes humans respond to pheromones which is far from being decided.

I would suggest that it probably looks like junk science to you because it doesn't agree with your beliefs.

If the brains of gay men and lesbians show differences to straight men and women - that is data. A scientist is interested in data like that.

Others have particular agendas -
