I could be mistaking my outlook regarding the universally acidic effects of evolution. I doubt that I'm mistaken. Let's see, would you agree that to accept the theory of evolution, to trust the meaning of the messages associated it, one has to have some kind of reference philosophical foundation that serves as the anchor for that acceptance?

Not as such. I can understand how some "reference philosophical foundations" may possible preclude acceptance of evolution, but it does not logically follow that only one specific philosophical foundation can lead to acceptance of the theory.
