I cannot help but think he will be confirmed. I bet the few demorats and rinos who speak out against him for the stupid reasons they choose, will be out flanked by the majority of senators who realize he is the right man for the job.
Of course we can list the ten or so that will be blabing their brains out against him. But surely GWB is getting the word out that this guy had better be confirmed.
He should have pulled a rope-a-dope off and suggest Big John Bolten for the job. Then as they went nuts, pretended to back off and suggest a good middle of the line man might be the Director of the NSA general M. Hayden.
