It would depend entirely on how much time passes.

Does the concept of blasphemy mean ANYTHING to you?!

We are not talking about a satirical event based on people the author may or may not know. This is about disgusting accusations about our Lord, His Mother, His disciples and our entire Christian culture.

If we can't defend our faith and our Lord against such trash then we aren't very good Christians. My 12-year-old son recently read the book, and he gave quite a good presentation over dinner as to why it was all preposterous and he didn't believe any of it! He thinks "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" was a more plausible explanation about the Holy Grail than "The DaVinci Code!"

Well, I was answering the specific question in post #3. I read the book, and found it to be more boring than anything else.

If I'm going to see the movie, it had better be a lot more interesting than the book was. Indignant reactions like yours are likely to drum up more interest in the movie than it would otherwise receive.
