Howard Dean Does Not Speak For American Jews

I am outraged at Howard Dean's recent comments to the American Jewish Committee.

"I was recently asked about the difference between the Democratic and Republican parties," Dean said. "When it comes right down to it, the essential difference is that the Democrats fundamentally believe it is important to make sure that American Jews feel comfortable being American Jews."

As an American Jew, I feel comfortable being an American Jew and a Republican. As an American Jew I am not comfortable with the Democratic Party supporting groups that hate Israel. As an American Jew I know that George W. Bush and the Republican Party has been a better friend to the State of Israel and the Jewish people than the Democratic Party.

As far as I am concerned (Catholic Convert from Southern Baptist), there's no me without our elder brothers and sisters the Jews. When anyone threatens Israel, they personally threaten me also.

Libs are a godless people, and why some Jews vote as they do boggles my mind. Every time I go to counter a protest and I see a Jewish organization... I question them to their face with no qualms.

On caller/conversion:
We also send away... it has to be something they yearn and want... a calling.

Republicans are the only ones (it seems), that care about Israel.
