This was not a good poll - quite frankly, it framed the debate in an either/or situation. At this point, there needs to be a third option, since we are months away from the election - with the third option being:
Encourage the House GOP to hold the line on border security and tell Arlen Specter, John McCain and President Bush to get in line with the House GOP.
If that option had been present, IMO it would have received a strong majority.
