I wouldn't be opposed to taking several 75 to a 100 Republican congressmen out behind the barn for a big attitude adjustment party. However, what would or could you do with the Congressional Black Congress, and about 120 other Democrat congress numb skulls. Congressional delegations for California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York, Illinois would puke a buzzard off a gut wagon with their inane views of America.

The GOP has not been black conservative friendly itself now has it? JC Watts ruined his own credibility substantially. But that was a character issues and not a race one. Keyes had some great ideas in 2000. The GOP locked him out. There are black conservatives. But like white ones the GOP says shut up and vote for us or else the DEMs will win.

If you want a good lesson in just how conservative even a self proclaimed liberal Dem can be look at the governor of Tennessee. He is not a Conservatives dream but he is far better than our previous Republican nightmare.

People aren't having to circle the state Capitol Building honking horns these days to protest the RINO's State Income Tax demand. Corruption in the states Hillary Care Program is under control. The state is in the black budget wise. But I really wish he would loose his Pre-K school program nonsense. 4 year olds belong with momma IMO so do 5 year olds.

In my state D's and R's doesn't mean that much unless you are in Memphis and are running against the Ford Family. People vote DEM because Grandpa did. Bad reason but a lot of conservative DEMs. I know there are good Republicans. I plan to vote for Ed Bryant. I think the White House and GOP shafted him because he was a House Manager. I preferred him much more that Lamar Alexander who is as Big Government as the day is long. But before Fred Thompson could make his official announcement of retirement the White House and RNC had made certain Alexanders name was on every network report on the matter as the likely replacement candidate. That sorta nonsense angers me. Alexander was a so-so governor at best who looked much better than the felon he replaced. Ironically he replaced the felon Thompson brought down which brings up just how disappointing Thompson was on the hearings.

Thompson could have done much better and didn't. Up till that point I had a lot of respect for the man. Frist? I didn't vote for him last time. The nation doesn't know the whole Frist story. He's a RINO. The Frist family is heavy into Dem politics as well. I checked the campaign records.

The Medicare reform is a farce. It is nothing more than a Hillary Care Program in Tennessee being done on a national level. All he did is what Gore, Hillary, and a Dem named Ned Ray McWherter did. They put government money into the hands of HMO's rather than simply trimming the benefits. Medicare should be ended within a generation but giving HMO's federal funds is not the answer. Let people opt out. If they want an HMO let them get one. In the mean time the Government should oversee Medicare until privatization is accomplished. As it stands now it leaves no way for the taxpayer to petition congress for Medicare abuses. I saw the same thing happen with Medicaid in Tennessee. Frist knows that system can not work yet he supported it on the state level and took it to a national level. I didn't vote for Frist I left that part of the ballot blank in protest as there was not a third party canidate running to vote for.

BTW Lamar Alexander was also a shill for trying to get us a state income tax as well by supporting our former RINO governors efforts on it. The man is not the conservative many say he is. He needs to go when his term is up.

A purist might argue the small points, I will not.

The Democrats do not have the answer for this country and their election to power would decimate this country.

For the sake of discussion I do not support John McCaniac or many of the Republican front runners being bandied about for the next election.

I like George Allen so far and Tom Tancredo and would support any Republican willing to cut back on run away spending, voting for a strong military, border security, and keeping American traditions.

The Republicans are making one huge mistake not sticking to their roots.

As I said in earlier posts I do not always agree with Bush but find that the Democrats offer no acceptable alternative.

Carl Rove are you listening!
