The Gulfhawk namew rang a bell so I had to Google it. There are two different Gulfhawks, one by Curtis and the later one by Grumman.

The Grumman Gulfhawk was a civil verrsion of the F3F Naval fighter. If this is the same plane as the ol' model, and even if not :-), I will use it for the Friday Flyby next week.

The Grumman is the one I had in mind - the retractible landing gear was one of my major triumphs as a model builder. Thank you. I await your next Friday Flyby eagerly.
