Sounds like the Fairtax has too much typical Washington legalese. All we need is:

1. No INCOME Tax. 2. A SALES Tax on everything BUT: a. Raw food b. prescription medicine. 3. The sales tax rate to slide downward (or exempt) for LARGE purchases like realestate.

The Corporate tax should remain, as corporations exist at the will of the gov't. Also so as to NOT unemploy professional tax accountants.

The INCOME TAX was passed in 1913 (almost 100 years ago) as a Temporary measure.

You are not allowed to change or call into question any aspect of the FairTax plan-- it is gospel. Your talk of exempting raw food and prescription drugs is heresy. Corporations don't pay taxes, their customers do. I am in favor of getting rid of all corporate taxes.
