I find this odd as well. The CIA is in definite need of a shake-up - I thought Goss might be the man to do it.

This makes me wonder if Goss is going to be implicated in the Duke Cunningham hooker scnadal. Some lefty websites have been pushing this, saying that while Goss was in Congress he was one of the pols who was entertained by the contractors who bribed Cunningham.
