Really it depends on which type of bi-polar he is. There are 2 types. Do you say the same to our military on the battle fields fighting, they can't be soldiers because they suffer from depression? If so, then you would have to cut our force by at least 1/3.

Well, I don't know what kind he has, but either it leads to frequent misbehavior, or he just uses it as an excuse for misbehavior. Maybe I didn't say it quite right, but what I tried to say is that if people have behavioral problems they can't control, that's tough on them. But if they have behavioral problems they can't control, they don't belong in congress. It's possible to sympathize with someone who has problems, but that doesn't say they should be put into situations they are incapable of handling.

It could be, in Kennedy's case, that he's just spoiled and stupid and unwilling to control himself.
