He has to be on anti-depressants to treat the bi-polar disorder and his depression. Just because he didn't mention it doesn't mean he doesn't take them. He would be totally out of control and not be able to function IF he didn't take those.

His excuse for the incident was pain killers. He said he was addicted to them.

Antidepressants was the second excuse, right after the abdominal/sleep medication excuse.
He's had three excuses, but decided to choose the Rush defense, because it was the safest - politically.

Shouldn't he be saying "lithium" in there somewhere among his medications? If he's bi-polar, that should be his main drug, shouldn't it?
