Just because someone claims to be an Evangelical Christian, doesn't mean they actually are. Actions mean far more than words.
You know that and I know that, but there are a lot of dupes in the congregations still supporting this church. I was one of them (even though I was an outspoken conservative) for years, until I realize they were partaking in a whole lot of doublespeak and dialectical consensus building. Looking back it seems pretty clear, but I didn't see it going in, and I was looking for it HARD. Many others just trust their leadership and don't actually look for or understand the danger signals, and I want them to be warned.
