I tend to occasionally spell words incorrectly but I have never called anyone an idiot when I don't agree with them.

"It has been demonstrated that most smokers see no problem in subjecting their kids to smoke."
Cite your sources, or STFUP.
"Some actually think its a healthy thing.
You make these stupid claims. Who is "some." Give us names and examples.

You;ll never get an answer either. I called another one of them out on another thread for saying the exact same thing (that 'we' were saying smoking was healthy for you). After asking him to post the proof for the fourth time, he came up with -She Lion said that "smoking was better than having aids".

Your addiction is government telling parents how to raise their children.
You should goosestep over to democrat underground where you can be with your kind.

This is one of the most irrational threads I've seen on FR. You have this irrational person WildHorseCrash spewing complete garbage about how government is best suited to raise children. WildHorseCrash should goosestep over to DU where he can be with his Marxist buddies.
Same thing with Raycpa. The man wouldn't recognize the difference between freedom and slavery if you gave him a map.
I think both of these characters are sleepers who were recently activated by their Marxist masters.

I'm not for Big Brother / Big Government intrusion into our lives. I don't like wearing seatbelts and having to drive 70 mph on the interstate. There are a lot of laws that I don't like. But, this one I think it's a good idea.
I've seen people in cars with ALL windows rolled up and two kids in the back seat in car seats and a CLOUD of smoke filling the car. I couldn't handle that but I have a choice; babies don't.

You make these stupid claims. Who is "some." Give us names and examples. You are correct. The smokers merely claim that statistic show that children of nonsmokers have fewer asthma incidents. Only a fool would believe that these statistic prove that children of smokers are better off than nonsmokers.

The man wouldn't recognize the difference between freedom and slavery if you gave him a map. Addicts are not free. Their invisible chains of addiction are very clear without a map.

Also, now that I relocated from New England to Illinois, I have a pretty good idea what corn fields look like. The background looks very much like corn fields . . . but who the heck grows corn in Maine?!Photoshop. You might be on to something. And probably some idiot was paid with the taxes smokers paid on cigarettes. To add insult to injury!

"It's for the children" is getting really old and reminds me of the Hildabeast. Like she really gives a darn about the children. For the children is SO old!!! And we all know they could care less about the kids. It's just a word they use to make what they do seem compassionate. ugh!

I try to stay clear of the gay and Aids issues. But I never said that smoking was better then having Aids. What the heck????

There wasn't a cloud of smoke to be seen. Did you dream this stuff up?
All the driver has to do is turn on the air and it all circulates, with or without the windows open. Unless you are thinking about a 42 Packard. LOL

Your homes are next.
The next great American billionaire will invent a device that can detect tobacco smoke in the air in any quantity above one part per trillion.
Then in the "enlightened communities" they will have cop cars drive by with the device and round up all the smokers (and place them in re-education camps) wherever they may be. :-(
(Hint to inventor--make sure the device cannot detect marijuana smoke--such detection would violate our civil liberties, you know.) ;-)

Whether you like it or not, smokers, your smoking in a confined space is noxious to children. My own experience as a child is that one can get used to the stench of a paper mill or a cattle feed lot, but not cigarette smoke. Both of my parents were smokers and, 45 years later, I still remember misery of long car trips in winter. Thank goodness we didn't have a car air conditioner back then! I'm not a big believer in the health danger of second-hand smoke, but I think that this prohibition is not unreasonable. A parent's right to indulge his addictions should be balanced against his child's right to breathe unpolluted air in a confined space.
The biggest danger to our children's future is not the smoke in their eyes and noses from cigarettes in an enclosed vehicle--it is the smoke in their eyes and ears from the politicized school teachers and administrators teaching socialism, lack of individual responsibility, hatred of white males, and hatred of America.
Children can overcome physical challenges--it is far more difficult to recover from a gunshot to the head when they are forced to fight for their liberties in a future they never made.

Those cornfields are going to be perfect hiding places for the darling little angels to sneak daddy's cigerettes when he's sawing logs in his easy chair and not keeping an eye on them.

Thinking back on my childhood--I was far more traumatized by being kissed by big fat ugly aunts than being subjected to cigarette and cigar smoke.
What do we do about those big fat aunts. Can we arrest them for kissing their nieces and nephews?

Rep. Gary Smith, D-Norco, said he introduced the measure because he wants to prevent health problems that children can have from second hand smoke inhalation.I know where he lives. I should get a child car seat and a baby doll, light up a stogie and drive past his house a few times.

They will try to break your nose before they try to break their addiction. My thinking was exactly like the smokers here on FR until I quit smoking after some 20 years. I can barely tolerate being around second hand smoke. I can see how people are fed up with it.
