We used to have good schools, no need to go back to that either.
We used to guard out borders, guess that's off the table.
We used to believe in American exceptionalism, no need to try that again.
We did a flat tax when women couldn't vote, and people of color weren't really human. Guess our enlightenment on the first two invalidates the third...
