I have taken Ambien for insomnia. Ambien does not make you "stagger" it simply puts you to sleep and it does not make you disoriented enough to think there's a vote at 3am. Kennedy is full of s--t. He was hammered. He's lying. He's a Kennedy.

From my expierence with many drunk people, I know that once a drunk person gets an idea into their head i.e. "I'm going to go vote and no one can stop me" nothing will stop them from carying out their task.

Of course he's lying. It would be nice if they would investigate this and find a cocktail waitress or bartender that would admit to serving the guy liquor before he took off in his car. But knowing the Kennedy's these people are probably already ''SLEEPING WITH THE FISHES''!

You are right about the ambien - it absolutely puts you to sleep. As does the phenergan. Together? WHOA - you are skating close to the edge of not waking up - much less going to vote.

I know there are some claims now from people that ambien makes them sleepwalk, eat everything in the kitchen and don't understand why they are gaining weight. So blaming ambien. Bet they didn't know it would make them want to go vote.

Kennedy had help thinking this one up.
