Kennedy said he returned to his Capitol Hill home on Wednesday evening after a final series of votes in Congress and took "prescribed" amounts of Phenergan and Ambien, another prescribed drug that he occasionally takes to fall asleep.

"Some time around 2:45 a.m., I drove the few blocks to the Capitol Complex believing I needed to vote," his second statement said. "Apparently, I was disoriented from the medication."

Well, has this happened before? Do you usually take your sleep medication and get back on the road to vote on something boy? What was your motivation boy?

What did your brain think you were going you vote on?

If he was that screwed up he should be charged with DUI, and didn't he damage government property? Do we need a retard like this voting on ANYTHING?

Another warning on Ambien and their commercials is to take right before sleep and plan on 7-8 hours of sleep. NOT right before you get into your car at 3 a.m. (was he planning to sleep till 11?) to drive home.
