I’m a few days late in bumping this in 2011, but since the MSM seems to continue to lie about what actually happened at Kent State 41 years ago, I’ll continue to bump this as a true account.
The students that were shot were used as pawns by SDS and other radical, subversive organizations. Someone shot at those Guardsmen. The deaths are tragic, but so too was the treatment the Guardsmen received and the way the students in general who were acting lawlessly were lionized.
Our troops are the best!

I missed bumping this in 2012, but it’s early May and time to remind the world again that the National Guardsmen who protected Kent, Ohio in 1970 were not monsters, the agitators who manipulated some foolish college kids were.
I’m grateful for those who served in Kent in uniform. While the death of the students was tragic, it’s organizations like the SDS and Weather Underground that deserve the blame for that. Not that the true criminals will ever be prosecuted.
