I received this from former freeper donnalyn. It came from JudyB1938 son Victor:
Last Friday mom went in for a routine heart catherization for clogged arteries. The doctor, in his infinite wisdom, decided that she had to have an immediate triple bypass. She recovered, as expected, the next day. Then, on Monday, she has fluid build up around the heart and coded. Her brain was deprived of oxygen for too long and she is now effectively brain dead. She will be taken off of life support tomorrow.

Maybe you could gently suggest to the son, Victor, that some Freepers enjoyed his mom's lively postings so much that we'd like to be sure that she, his Mom, got all the benefits of second, unbiased and thorough opinions in what must be a dreadful and confusing period for him and his family.
May flights of angels carry her to her resting place...
