I received this from former freeper donnalyn. It came from JudyB1938 son Victor:
Last Friday mom went in for a routine heart catherization for clogged arteries. The doctor, in his infinite wisdom, decided that she had to have an immediate triple bypass. She recovered, as expected, the next day. Then, on Monday, she has fluid build up around the heart and coded. Her brain was deprived of oxygen for too long and she is now effectively brain dead. She will be taken off of life support tomorrow.

I agree. Even though I have never met most of our FreeRepublic friend in person, it still hurts when one of them is suffering or dies. :-(
Prayers for JudyB. Where there is life there is hope. Whether she live in this world as a witness to His love, if it be His will, or passes to be with Him and rejoice in His presence, our prayers are with her. His will be done.
Prayers for her family. May God grant them peace and solitude in this difficult time. May He send His Blessed Mother to comfort them and guide JudyB to her Son, Our Lord Jesus.

That said, her situation brings such a great pain and sadness. and while she rests, for sure, in the 'palm of His hand', I send my prayers for Judy, her family and all those who know and love her.

Prayers sent. Even when we don't understand, God is in control. My dad has had a couple of bypass surgeries and they always say they've become very common surgeries that are performed daily.
Then you hear something like this happen.
