Having been a prison guard while in the National Guard, I can tell you being in any prison stinks. Being in max stinks even more. The 'amenities' are there to keep people from going insane. Incarceration is the real punishment.
Beside, if Mossaoui gets in the general population, he'll resemble a pincushion in minutes.
