I don't follow. Would it not be possible that the church edited the other gospels? Why would it necessarily make Jesus a liar. Or perhaps the gospel writers didn't know the whole story or were wrong
And I'm not even sure there is a strong contradiction. They say the son of man was betrayed but it but it doesn't address the mechanism by which Judas decided to do this - there was for me reading the Gospels already the sense that God willed this to happen.
