French authorities said Thursday they may eventually press the United States to have Moussaoui serve his life sentence in France under two conventions on the transfer of convicts. They were waiting to hear the conditions of his sentencing.

Unbelievable.

I have been reading every post about this because I still can't believe it. Well, I can believe it, but I don't want to.

Just as many Americans have forgotten their most vicious enemies of the past, memories fade quickly. Moussaoui is very likely to be killed in prison but, if he is not, he is likely to die of old age in his home country of Morocco after the U.S. turns him loose before his middle age. Possibly earlier if the Democrats get back into power.

Even though he is sentenced to life he still has a chance to get out.

When will the bleeding hearts learn that you have to kill this worthless vermin.

Devil's Island would be too good for Moussaoui. Also, he might escape like Pappion.

Moussaoui needs to be transfered to where he can spend some quality time alone with Jeffrey Dahmer's final prison acquaintance.

Only in Imagination Land will we not hear of Moussaoui again. This France thing is just the tip of the iceberg.

They can't extradite Timothy McVey.

Nine jurors found that Moussaoui suffered a difficult childhood in a dysfunctional family where he spent many of his early years in and out of orphanages.

This is from The Onion, right?

"My son will be buried alive because France didn't dare contradict the Americans," she said.

Rest assured, most of us would rather have buried him dead, but hey, you play the cards you are dealt.

An unrepentant Zacarias Moussaoui was sentenced to life in prison Thursday for his role in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, warning Americans in his final public words that they would never catch Osama bin Laden.

Never say never, Zak old boy.
