WASHINGTON - The operator of the state's power grid said Wednesday that it expects to have ample power to meet peak summer demands.
"We are fine, but it is going to be tight in the south," Yakout Mansour, chief executive of the Folsom-based California Independent System Operator, said at a news conference at the National Press Club.

California is a great example of what happens when a "country" relies on outsiders to meet most of its energy needs. Compare this to the USA that relies on various and asundry third world dictators to meet most of its energy needs.
O-goodly, we have plenty of power at 300% greater cost then ever with the government power plants raking in billions.
Talk about gouging.
Gee! I feel so much better knowing that the Bonneville Dam (10 miles up the road from me) is going to have sufficient water flow to power all of those air conditioners in Kally-fornea this summer.
After all, we just have to keep all of those illegals down there comfy at night...
