There is always an alternative. If parents don't like what is going on in public schools, their only alternative is to remove their children. The public schools cannot be reformed. It is simply not possible. It is a one-way ratchet to ever increasing levels of depravity.
The public schools are going to get your money, no matter what. Make sure they don't get your precious children as well.
Exactly! There are still some decent public schools in conservative precincts, but it's only a matter of time until the corruption that begins in liberal bastions seeps into every public school.
Pull your kids out! I know it's an economic sacrifice, and for some it's unfortunately impossible, but everyone who can should invest in private schooling or homeschooling. Nothing's more important than your children, and the public schools are either dead already or on a track leading to their demise.
I just, last Friday, called the school my daughter was suppossed to enroll in and told them we would not be enrolling her. I'll admit now that we've made that final decision to homeschool - I'm a little nervous. But when I read something like this about our CA schools I know there is NO other option.
