I got a reply back from Senator Craig as well. Sounds like the same letter...

I don't think he gets it yet. He mentioned the guest worker part as in his response to me as well. I had also suggested that any guest workers should be male only with no wives or kids, since in no way can a family be supported with these low wage jobs.

I cautioned him though, that the employers who were hiring these folks would not be particularly interested in workers that they had to pay a decent wage and withhold taxes and SS on. What makes them attractive to employers is the fact that they are illegal.

He needs to be called on these issues. I was particularly upset over the bill for educating children of illegal aliens.
