I think a very big flag would be the inability to speak English and then credit and reference checks, which are pretty standard.

I know Vietnamese that have been here 20 years who speak very little English, do all their business in cash, and deal only with other Vietnamese.

Besides, you think employers check references on hourly workers? LOL!!!
