We have a nation of professional politicians , not statesmen . I'm starting to feel that , except for a VERY few, they are ALL out for power and personal gain and the public and nation be dammed. I sometimes believe the nation has completly been hijacked by these "politicians "types( both parties being 2 side of the same coin ). Few represent me at all anymore. The amnisty for illegal issue is an example . The vast majority of the nation wants tough immigration laws and it's ignored by almost everyone in office . they could give less of a damn what WE want for our country .

Politicians are no different. What in the world makes you think that people want truly principled leadership? They say they do right up to the point of getting their own ox gored.
