But what about the "culture of corruption" among Republicans? We know that Republicans are corrupt because Nancy Pelosi said so. This Congressman is a good Democrat, so how could he have accepted bribes? Democrats represent the "common people" and would never accept a bribe to influence what they do in office.

Looks like Jefferson's going to the gray bar hotel.

Culture of Corruption("CoC") alert. Has anybody documented every congressman nationwide that has been charged/convicted of wrongdoing. It owuld be interesting to see how many have a 'D' next to their name, and how many have an 'R'.
U.S. Attorney Chuck Rosenberg said in a statement. Those that pay bribes in return for favorable treatment, and public officials who corruptly trade on their office and line their own pockets do so at great risk, because we will pursue these cases relentlessly.
Thank God for the U.S. attorneys office.

This is the guy Rush says used several military vehicles to get to his house in NOLA after Katrina.
Didn't he take out a safe?
They got stuck on his lawn?

From the article - The congressman has not been charged. He denies any wrongdoing and his office has said he is cooperating with investigators.
Will he try the "I was just setting this evil corrupt businessman up " excuse or not?

Darn that Nancy Pelosi's culture of corruption! I'm now going to hold my breath for the time when this story receives any press coverage beyond being buried on a few news websites or even half as much coverage as they gave Randy Cunningham. Here I go................................................................would someone please call the paramedics now?

"But what about the "culture of corruption" among Republicans? We know that Republicans are corrupt because Nancy Pelosi said so"
**Cunningham, a California Republican, was sentenced to eight years in prison in March after admitting to taking $2.4 million in bribes.**
This speaks much louder than Pelosi. Take those blinders off and face reality.
