Wrong. It's not for us to know the time; as in year, month, day; but we will know the season. Read your bible.

...the end times. When they come, they come. Trying to remember the parable about the twelve maidens waiting for the master to return. Six kept their lamps burning and were ready when he silently arrived. In other words, while we are not meant to know that exact time, stay watchful.

Not me! His definition of Christianity is a tad tooo broad for me.
"It is not for us to know or guess about the end times. When they come, they come."
We don't don't know the date and time but as the verse suggests it could be leading up to something. If you are familiar with the Bible you will see other prophetic possibilities. I see allot of COLD hearts out there that get tremendous satisfaction in mocking Him and all He states in the Bible - especially about events to take place before He returns.

Then WHY did Christ Jesus Himself chide His followers about being able to discern the weather but not the signs of the times? WHY did HE exhort us to watch; be ready and wait--occupying until He comes? He seemed to think we should make it something of a priority--lower than Loving God and Loving others but still enough of a priority to be alert to.
I hope you aren't saying Jesus was just passing gas with such exhortations.
