He quite well have been what you say but if he did not commit this crime he should not have been executed. I worked in the Criminal Justice System for years and have very little regard for most lawyers but the system is truly flawed and most Investigators have tunnel vision once they make up their mind.Before seeking the death penalty you need unbiased testimony and that is hard to find.

Nobody in this country, with extremely rare exceptions such as Timothy McVeigh, ever gets put to death without an exhaustive appeal and review process that typically lasts around 25 years.

The idea that the death row system is flawed is nothing but a bunch of liberal BS. If there's any reasonable question whatsoever about the person's guilt, he doesn't get executed.
