The post office could be run much more efficiently. At the post office I have to use there is a machine that dispenses stamps, weighs packages and prints out postage, etc. Guess what? It is down most of the time. If these machines were available like ATMs we would not need all those union thugs were are on break most of the day.

Since you own a computer, you can print a label, pay for postage, schedule a pickup right from your home without going to the P.O. They will even send you a box to pack your stuff in it.
And, because you are doing all the work, they give you free delivery confirmation.
People need to look at www.USPS.gov for all the services they provide on line.
The only reason I have to go to the P.O. (and I ship hundreds of packages a year) is when I have an overseas shipment. That is because the customs forms have to be signed in the presence of the clerk (although they don't really watch).
