It was choice with some outside influences that I won't outline here. My brother is not a proponent of "born gay". He says it's a choice usually brought on by outside influence.

Funny, my daughter (who is gay) is of the same mind. I kind of thought that she was in the minority in thinking this. I wouldn't disclose the reasons that she thinks this way but I can tell you that she is afraid of boys and attention from boys.

It's funny. I have lesbian friends who also say it is a choice. But the lesbians who say they were born that way come back with, 'why would anyone *choose* to be gay in an intolerant society?' I kinda laugh at that kind of reasoning.
