I don't agree. If the police are attacked by any weapon that can cause injury, they should respond with force.

Ok...I'm guilty of assuming you know what you actually said. Here's what YOU wrote:

Let me dissect that for you....You said, "they" ( meaning the police..) should have shot FIRST....

And THAT is UNCALLED for...

I won't even get into shooting conventional weapons at bottle throwers...Oh, I understand the arguments..for and against. But this STILL is America..and we don't treat citizens or not...like they do in China/Venezuela/Palestine, et al....
