I like jerky, that's about it. My wife was practically raised on Deer meat by her father and can't stand to even look at it anymore. lol

Bob is about 84-5. We set him up in a good location on a relatives land and drive toward him. One shot, one deer and always a head or neck shot. I saw him take down a yearling in full flight with a neck shot. That .351 Auto-reloader of his has brought down a tractor trailer full of deer!

BTW, he once told a story about being on some island in the Pacific. (He couldn't remember which) Every night a Nip airplane would come by a few times and strafe to keep the Marines awake. One moonlit night he says he had "just about enough of this nonsense." He stood up and gave the gunner the finger. The plane was so close that he could see the gunner give him the finger back while firing at him. His comment was "Could you imagine a man standing up like that? He'd have to not want to live." At which point he shook his head and chuckled. The world is gonna be a poorer place when Bob passes.
