I'm saying we were perfectly justified in dropping the nukes on Japan. It is the left that tries to saddle us with the charge of racism over that, and it is the left that will try to saddle us with the charge of racism when we try to close our border and evict the illegals. You know the official law of the land, according to the Supreme Court back in Dred Scott was that slaves were property.
Do you think the Supreme Court had the power to do that? I don't think they should have, but they did.
Do you think the Supreme Court had the power in Plessy vs. Ferguson to hold that separate but equal is equal?
I don't think so, but they did.
Dred Scott and Plessy were outrageous decisions, and they had to be fixed later on. ...."
Note the words, "..they had to be fixed later on."

For 1400 years--actually until about 1922 with the Founding of the Arab Brotherhood in Egypt, the West and Islam had a coexistence. Muslims DO think they are superior, but in truth, all our religions, from Christianity to Judaism all think that we have the True Path to God. THe question is will we kill each other to get that way. I am not comfortable with the history of Islam; however, there are examples (e.g., Spain, Morocco, even Palestine between about 1490 and 1910) where Muslims and Westerners coexisted in peace. Perhaps they wanted us dead...I am a bit reluctant to declare my own jihad against 1.3 billion people in the world because of their religious BELIEFs. When it comes to the acts and goals of Islamo-Fascists, the situation is clear: kill the cockroach before the cockroach dirties your space. I don't see the same in all Muslims...

The author and Rush kept referring to "Total War". It has a specific meaning, and has had no application since WWII.
I agree, micromanaging the war, or sacrificing our troops to minimize collateral deaths is stupid. I think Bush, though, has given the field troops great leeway.
